- Η Οινοποιία Σγουρίδη υπήρξε το όραμα του Παναγιώτη και της Αναστασίας Σγουρίδη, οι οποίοι βασισμένοι στο μεράκι τους και την παράδοση της οικογένειας στην ποτοποιία, έκαναν στροφή και δοκίμασαν την τύχη τους στην οινοποιία. Δημιούργησαν σταδιακά μέσα στην περίοδο 2000-2005 έναν ιδιόκτητο αμπελώνα εκατό περίπου στρεμμάτων με σκοπό να αναβιώσουν τα κρασιά της φημισμένης από την αρχαιότητα περιοχής των Αβδήρων. Τοποθετημένος στο Αγρόκτημα Μάνδρας, που εκτείνεται στους ήπιους λόφους της περιοχής Αβδήρων, ο αμπελώνας φιλοξενεί στις γραμμές τους επιλεγμένες ελληνικές και ξενικές ποικιλίες οινοστάφυλων ενώ διαφοροποιείται από το μοναδικό του ψαμμιτικό υπέδαφος, την ονομαστή Πέτρα Μάνδρας, και το ιδιαίτερο μικροκλίμα που παράγει η παρακείμενη λιμνοθάλασσα Λαφρούδα. Τον Απρίλιο του 2004, δημιουργήθηκε και επίσημα η εταιρία «Οίνοι Σγουρίδη», με επικεφαλής τους δυο γιους του Παναγιώτη και της Αναστασίας, τον Ναπολέοντα και τον Σγουρή. Οι δύο πολιτικοί μηχανικοί με πολύ όρεξη για δημιουργία και με προσήλωση στην bio φιλοσοφία, πιστοποίησαν τον αμπελώνα ως Βιολογικό από το 2006 και εγκατέστησαν ένα Φωτοβολταικό Πάρκο 20kw εντός του αμπελώνα από το 2009. Απώτερος στόχος της οικογένειας είναι να ελαχιστοποιήσουν το ενεργειακό αποτύπωμα κατά τη παραγωγική διαδικασία χωρίς εκπτώσεις στην ποιότητα των παραγόμενων οίνων. Άμεσος στόχος της εταιρείας είναι η ολοκλήρωση σύγχρονων οινοποιητικών εγκαταστάσεων που θα φιλοξενήσουν οινοποιήσεις υψηλής ποιότητας και θα μπορούν να υποδεχθούν τον πιο απαιτητικό οινόφιλο επισκέπτη. Το portfoio της οινοποιίας αποτελείται από την σειρά SIGMA Λευκό, Ροζέ , Ερυθρό,απο την σειρα MANDRINOS λευκο ,ροζε ,ερυθρο και τον ΕΡΥΘΡΟ ΠΟΛΕΜΙΣΤΗ.

- Sgouridis winery haw been the vision of both Panagiotis and Anastasia Sgouridi, whom based on the family's tradition in distillery and personal passion in wine, set the corner stone of this endeavour. During the period 2000-2005 they gradually planted a vineyard of approximately 25 acres with the mindset to revive the wines of the famous from antiquity Avdira region. The vineyards are situated on on a mild hills set nearby the Thracian Pelagos, providing an ideal location to cultivate selected Greek and foreign varieties of wine grapes. It stands out also for its unique terroir that consists of "Petra Mandras", a one-of-a-kind rocky underground layer, and the "Lafrouda" lagoon that rests nearby. The Sgouridis Wine company was consisted on April 2004 by Napoleon and Sgouris Sgouridis the two sons of the family. The two civil engineers carried out the fascinating though demanding task of winemaking with great passion and dedication to the BIO philosophy. They certified the vineyard BIO by 2006 and on, and they completed the construction of an array of Photovoltaic systems of 20Kw by 2009.Their utter goal is to minimise the CO2 footprint of the production procedures still maintaining the highest standards of wine making. The imminent goal of the company is to complete the construction of a modern winery facility so that they can push the quality levels even higher and satisfy the most demanding wine lover. The label portfolio of Sgouridi Wines consists of SIGMA White, Rose, Red labels, MANDRINOS White, Rose, Red labels, and the "ERYTHROS POLEMISTIS" (RED WARRIOR) label.
