Το όνομα Scaperdas Frères (Σκαπέρδας Φρερ) εμπνευσμένο από τον προπάππου του Στέλλιου Μπουτάρη από τη μεριά της μητέρας του, Σπυρίδων Σκαπέρδα με καταγωγή από την Καστοριά, ο οποίος τέλη του 19ου αιώνα, μαζί με τον αδερφό του, άφησαν την Ελλάδα για μια νέα αρχή στο Παρίσι.
Στις αρχές του 20ου αιώνα, ο Σπυρίδων Σκαπέρδας, παρόλες τις αντιξοότητες, ανελίχθηκε σε ένα από τους πιο περιζήτητους γουναράδες του Παρισιού.
Κάνοντας ταξίδι πίσω στο χρόνο, ο Στέλλιος Mπουτάρης κάνει μια ωδή (hommage) στην οικογένεια, την ιστορία, τη ζωή, αναδεικνύοντας τη γαλλική φινέτσα με το know-how του κρασιού, στο νέο brand αφρώδων οίνων της Κυρ-Γιάννη, Scaperdas Frères. - Γιαννακοχώρι

Scaperdas Frères is inspired by the great-grandfather of Stellios Boutaris on his mother's side, Spyridon Scaperdas originated from Kastoria, who at the end of the 19th century, together with his brother, left Greece for a new beginning in Paris.
At the beginning of the 20th century, Spyridon Scaperdas, despite the adversities, became one of the most distinguished furriers in Paris.
Traveling back in time, Stellios Βoutaris makes an ode (hommage) to family, history, life, highlighting French finesse with know-how of the wine in the new brand of Kir-Yianni for sparkling wines made with traditional method, Scaperdas Frères. - Yiannakohori
